Best Local Nightclubs In OKC
The Alley Club
One of the best nightclubs in Oklahoma City, in my opinion is The Alley Club. Its very near the "crossroads" of Interstate 35 and Interstate 240.
The club is very casual and lots of fun. They have pool tables, darts and shuffleboard in the main room. They have a glass patio with tables and bar and a place outside, that you can play volleyball or horseshoes in the summer.
The warm summer nights in Oklahoma make the outside area of The Alley Club very appealing. It has soft grass and sand in areas all surrounded by a wooden picket fence. There is parking behind the fence as well, and you can come in The Alley Club the "back way".
The club is tucked in quietly right off the interstate and is truly a hideaway gem of a club. It has several bars inside and they serve some of the best quality, reasonably priced drinks in the city. If you are on a budget, but like quality drinks, this is the club to go to.
They serve the classiest drinks to draft beers. They often will have free food and snacks at a small buffet on football game days or on Sundays, I believe. Chips and queso or finger foods all for free.I always felt that the free buffet was a generous and responsible thing for a bar to do. Its very thoughtful that they don't want you to drink on an empty stomach.
On weekends it is packed with live bands and dancing until 2 am. It is one of the most fun bars in the city! The Alley Club is very personal as well, and you are sure to make some great long term friends!
Sherlocks
Sherlock's is another favorite club of mine. Its located west of Oklahoma City just south on MacArthur. Its not as casual as The Alley Club and you may need a tie or collar to get in. They serve premium drinks there. The bartenders can make just about any drink you can possibly think of.
At Sherlock's the music is excellent and loud , so be prepared for a fast paced club with lots of dancing. They try to keep the club very lively on weekends and you will definitely enjoy yourself.
Be prepared for some good natured debauchery late at night with a dance they call "The Gator". Sherlock's has a modern day disco atmosphere to it, so be prepared to dance the night away!
Sherlock's and The Alley Club are my two personal favorite nightclubs in Oklahoma City but the City has many, many more to visit and see. I chose these two because sometimes I like to go casual or upscale depending on my mood.
