Many people often ask how to block someone on Facebook. Perhaps someone is spamming them or bothering them and for some people it seems difficult to find the block feature on Facebook.
Maybe you just like having privacy and you don't want someone to keep trying to add you as a friend or stop them from constantly inviting you to a Facebook game. The reasons for blocking someone can be innocent or just personal taste or for personal reasons.
All you have to do is go to your home page on Facebook. On the top right hand side is Account. Click on account and click Privacy Settings. At the bottom of this page in the middle is Block Lists. Click the Edit your lists link. On this page you can block someone by their name or email address. You can also block event or applications on this page.
I found two very straightforward and simple Youtube videos on the right hand side that will show you visually and easily how to go through the process of blocking and unblocking on Facebook.
The fastest way to block someone on Facebook, if that person has a profile on Facebook and if they are being a nuisance is to go to their Facebook page and scroll down their profile page and look at the bottom left side of their profile for a link that says Report/Block this person. Just click that link and a box of choices will load. You will get about five different choices ranging from inappropriate photos to inappropriate content. At the bottom is the choice of Block this person. Just check that box.
Sometimes we just want a little privacy or we get tired of the constant invitations to games, we don't want to play or groups we don't want to join and having this information can make for a more enjoyable experience on our favorite social network!
