Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah Review

One of my all time favorite books, that I have read in my lifetime is Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah. It is one of very few books, that I have read in my life, that has left an enduring impact.

Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah was written by Richard Bach. You may have enjoyed reading another one of his great books called, Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah is the kind of book you will want to read from cover to cover, start to finish. I know that I did. I once asked a librarian what her all time favorite book was and she replied "Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah". I checked out a copy on the spot and found out later why it was her favorite book. It also became my favorite book after reading it for the first time.

Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah is not only a wonderful story, in it's own right, but it has useful life lessons and truths throughout. If you have not read it yet, I highly recommend it. If you have kids or teenagers, that like to read, it would be a wonderful book to buy them as a gift, so that they could have a copy as they learn about life.

Without spoiling any of the story or plot, Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah is a wonderful story based around cornfields in Illinois and pilots and airplanes from the barnstorming days.
